Ramayana is slated to release in two parts. The first part will release in Diwali 2026, while the second part will release in Diwali 2027. The movie sees Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Raavan. AR Rahman, who has worked on the film's music with Hans Zimmer, opened up about his collaboration with the musical genius. During an interview with BBC Asian, the Oscar winning composer shared about working on the music of a movie based on Hindi mythology, while being Muslim. For those unaware, AR Rahman was born as Dileep Kumar Rajagopala in Madras. He embraced Islam in 1989.
