Shannen Doherty's ex-husband Kurt Iswarienko is fighting the late actress' estate over claims he owes money two years after her death, Us Weekly can exclusively report. On Wednesday, January 14, Iswarienko's lawyer filed court docs claiming the allegations over the divorce settlement, which he signed with Doherty days before her death, were brought in the wrong court. Doherty died on July 13, 2024, at the age of 53, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She signed the divorce deal on July 12, 2024, and Iswarienko signed it on July 13, 2024. The divorce deal was entered in court on July 15, 2024. In his new filing, Iswarienko claims that the divorce case should have been terminated when Doherty died on July 13. He believes the divorce deal should never have been filed and that the court has no jurisdiction to enforce the terms of the agreement. The estate claimed that per the divorce deal, Iswarienko was required to list a home in DrIpping Springs, Texas. The petition claimed he had not listed the four-bedroom, four-bathroom home, which is worth an estimated $1.5 million. Doherty's estate believes it is owed a cut of the home. The paperwork also accused Iswarienko, who is a photographer, of turning over a list of his artwork and returning property owned by the Charmed actress.
