Agatha Christie's Seven Dials has landed on Netflix, adapting one of the famous mystery novelist's beloved stories. Told over three episodes, Seven Dials follows Lady Eileen "Bundle" Brent (played by Mia McKenna-Bruce) as she seeks out the truth about love interest Gerry Wade's (Corey Mylchreest) death following a party at her and her mother Lady Caterham's (Helena Bonham-Carter) home. However, the closer Bundle gets to solving the mystery, the more dangerous - and deadly - it becomes for her and her loved ones. Seven Dials has it all: An amateur sleuth, a secret society, a Clue-esque whodunnit at a huge manor and even a high-stakes chase aboard a moving train. It all takes place in 1920s London and Southern England, with gorgeous country views at every turn. Chimneys: Badminton House in Gloucestershire Bundle's country home, Chimneys, was filmed at Gloucestershire, England's Badminton House. "We wanted romance for Chimneys, and for it to be crumbling but beautiful," director Chris Sweeney told Glamour U.K. in January 2026. "And I based a lot of stuff on things like Cecil Beaton's house, Reddish House, which were crumbling, and had pelargoniums everywhere. We sort of combined Cecil Beaton and Vita Sackville-West for Lady Caterham." Sweeney continued, "Badminton House delivered on that, because it's a private home, it's sort of romantically crumbly, but also completely lavish and beautiful. And the people who live there are charming and lovely, and I think that comes across in the home, and that was a real find, because ultimately, most of these incredible houses are not private and available to rent." Fun fact: The estate was also used for filming in Netflix's Bridgerton and other period pieces. "Wyvern Abbey was more of a hunt - our producer Jo Crow was keen on Westonbirt School, which is a stunning building, but although we were filming in the summer holidays so the regular school children were not on site, there is a very busy summer school which takes over in the holidays so we had to make careful arrangements to work around them," Dee Gregson, the show's filming manager, told Glamour. "The school were very keen for the filming to happen, and I know they are really happy with how it looks on screen!" The Seven Dials Club: Barrel House in Bristol Bundle finds herself at a nightclub called The Seven Dials, which was filmed at Barrel House in Bristol, England. Behind the Scenes of Downton Abbey! "The Seven Dials Club was described as being entered from an alleyway, in an older building, with several floors for different scenes on each floor," Gregson told Country & Townhouse. "A period building in Queen Square [in Bristol] dating from the early 18th century worked for sections of the Seven Dials Club, as well as offering great rooms for other scenes in characters' apartments. It had been the headquarters of English Heritage and was very well preserved." The entrance to the club was filmed on All Saints Street and Clare Street in Bristol, while scenes in the Seven Dials' secret room were filmed at Bristol's Bottleyard Studios. The Seven Dials' stairways and other scenes were filmed at Queen Square. The Train: Minehead and Blue Anchor Station According to Gregson, the show's most challenging sequences to film were those that took place on the train. For these scenes, they chose Minehead and Blue Anchor Station. "The railway involved a lot of research all around the country," Gregson told Glamour. "We ended up settling on West Somerset Railway because it was decided that the train should stop alongside the sea, and Blue Anchor Bay offered the perfect place, unspoiled and beautiful. Also, it was in our region, so not too many overnights were involved." 'Bridgerton' Cast: See the Hit Netflix Show's Stars Then and Now Gregson said the "biggest challenge" they encountered while filming the train scenes was "the heat." "With many cast and supporting artists all in period costume sitting on a non-moving train in the heat, we ended up bringing in battery-powered air conditioners and stringing them along the train," she explained.
