Jessi Ngatikaura is struggling to recognize herself after undergoing major changes! The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives fans may recall that the reality star revealed she got work done last month. And no, it was not another labiaplasty! LOLz! It was all on her face! She didn't share the procedure she underwent at the time, promising to tell everyone later on. Well, the time has come! The hairstylist took to TikTok on Thursday to say she is three weeks post-op and still "extremely swollen" in her face: "I feel like I have to preface every single video I post lately with the fact that I am extremely swollen still. I am three weeks post-op from my face surgery, and this is not my final result, and I don't want anything thinking this is what I want to look like, so just gotta say that." Sadly, Jessi expressed that the healing process has "really messed with" her. Sucks. "I knew what to expect, but it still is kind of an identity crisis when you look in the mirror, and you don't look like yourself." But still, she knows that before looking "better," you "gotta look worse." This is only temporary! And she looks beautiful no matter what! What did Jessi actually get done, though? In the past she's gotten a boob job, a nose job, and a labia job. But for this most recent adventure under the knife she got an upper and lower bleph, which is an eyelid surgery to remove excess skin. According to Jessi, she "was just having a little bit of creasing" on her top eyelid and her eyeshadow "tugged" on her lids. The Hulu personality previously had a "skin pinch" on her lower lids, but she wasn't super happy with the results. She said "it was a little more subtle than I was wanting," so she decided to get it enhanced with a lower bleph. And that's not all! Jessi added: "The reason I am so swollen and the reason I look different is that I also did some fat grafting." The TikToker explained she dissolved all of her facial fillers and opted to use fat instead to help "produce collagen" in the areas of her face where she lost weight. Her doctors took the fat from her outer thighs through liposuction, and they injected it into her face. Whoa. Jessi shared that in the first few weeks of recovery, she looked "terrifying" due to the swelling and bruising. Since getting the procedures, Jessi said she noticed her makeup "goes on better" and her lashes look longer, but she is still dealing with a lot of swelling in her face. It's migrated down to her chin recently, which she's managing with steroid medications and shots. Jessi noted she also got lymphatic drainage facials, and her thyroid was tested. But ultimately, she knows she "can't speed up the recovery process" and needs to take it a day at a time: "It's a 5-6 week process before you feel like yourself again, but it's like 3-6 months before it fully settles in." She assured everyone that what she got is "essentially the same thing as getting filler," but even better because it doesn't migrate. And before anyone judges her, she has a reminder: "The thing with plastic surgery is that it's everyone's own prerogative. I know that I have insecurities, but especially being on TV, it's heightened. It's OK to tweak a few things you don't like about yourself. And if that gives you confidence, why the hell not?!" Most importantly, no one should leave any hate comments about her appearance or anyone else's. It's rude and unnecessary. And she'll "delete" them anyway! Jessi concluded the video saying this was her "last surgery," unless she wants "a face lift in [her] 50s." Until then, she's done!
