John Mellencamp has a heartbreaking update on daughter Teddi's cancer battle. Perezcious readers know that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum was diagnosed with stage two melanoma in 2022. Teddi underwent several procedures to address the tumors over the years afterward. However, in April 2025, she announced the sad news that her cancer spread to her brain and lungs and progressed to stage four. And months later, she shared that her cancer is "gone" - but she is not considered in remission yet. During an appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast on Wednesday, Teddi's musician father opened up about her health, saying she has been "really sick." While talking about how it wasn't easy raising his five children, John told Joe Rogan: "Girls, at about 12 you lose them and then about 21, they come back. I kind of lost mine. But now it's kind of like - but I do have a daughter that's really sick. It's not f**king fun. She's got cancer in the brain, and she's suffering right now." Oh no! We really hate to hear that! The 74-year-old musician went on to reflect on Teddi's childhood, saying: "That kid used to call me up and I'd go, 'Teddi, you can have a thought without asking me if it's ... you know, figure it out yourself.'
