The father of a 33-year-old woman who was fatally shot over the weekend during a dispute outside a Southfield, Michigan, nightclub is opening up about the tragedy, which he admitted he's still trying to make sense of. "Although I am not up for an interview, I can share some thoughts about Alex," Alan Fields wrote about his daughter, Alexandra Fields, in a statement to WDIV Local 4. "She was such a joy. As a child, she was shy but extremely funny. ... She was kind, thoughtful, and loved by our family and friends." Alexandra died on Saturday, January 10, outside Bloom Southfield.
