Influencer couple Haley and MonDarius Black have welcomed their first baby nearly two years after they experienced a devastating pregnancy loss. Haley, 27, gave birth to daughter Leilani Noel Black on January 6 at 7:41 a.m., the couple told People on Tuesday, January 13. Their baby girl weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces and measured 20.5 inches long. "Honestly, it feels surreal. I've been looking at Money [MonDarius] for the last two days, and I'm like, 'Look. Our daughter is on my hips right now. Can you believe she's here?'" Haley told the outlet. "It's something that you crave for so long, and after getting pregnant, it's like, 'OK, this is happening.' But now that she's here, it almost feels like I'm in a dream, and I'm like, 'Is this really happening right now?' I keep looking at her little face and her little toes, and I can't believe it." Leilani's birth comes nearly two years after Haley experienced an ectopic pregnancy where her fallopian tube ruptured. Six weeks after her pregnancy loss, Haley was told at a checkup that she needed a larger portion of her right fallopian tube removed. However, she was told that she could still conceive naturally. The couple struggled to conceive for a year before Haley went to her ob-gyn in April 2025 for "excruciating pain." She was informed that her previous doctor completely removed her right tube, which greatly reduced her chance of becoming pregnant. "At that point, I was very discouraged," she said. "Less than a week before my appointment, I realized my period was late," she recalled. "I'm calling, trying to change my doctor's appointment. I'm like, 'I just need y'all to tell me this is real.' I'm supposed to be there next week to talk about fertility options. This doesn't make any sense." Haley continued, "It's honestly insane just how far we have come from the loss until now. I definitely didn't anticipate some of the feelings that being pregnant would bring on after losing a baby, but I'm so grateful that we're here now."
