"With her health apparently improving, there has been a suggestion that Kate and Prince William will make a joint foreign visit this year, perhaps to the U.S. for the 250th anniversary of independence," editor Kate Mansey wrote for The Times. _ "It could be the sort of gold dust [Britain's Prime Minister] Sir Keir Starmer needs to continue to woo a U.S. president [Donald Trump] who seems less interested in spending his voters' money on supporting his European allies in the face of Russian aggression in Ukraine," Kate Mansey said. _ During Donald Trump and Melania Trump's recent state visit to England, the First Lady and Kate Middleton met members of the Scouts' Squirrels program together. "Kate and Melania appear to get on well, with a shared interest in the scouting movement," Kate Mansey said. _ Donald Trump gushed over Kate Middleton, Prince William and King Charles III during his trip. "His Majesty has also raised a remarkable son in His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales. Really amazing," he said in his speech at his state dinner. "We've gotten to know you and I think you're going to have an unbelievable success in future. Melania [Trump] and I are delighted to visit again with Prince William and to see Her Royal Highness, Princess Catherine, so radiant and so healthy. It's so beautiful. It's really a great honor, thank you." _ Elsewhere in Donald Trump's speech, he praised the United States' special relationship with England. "The bond of kinship and identity between America and the United Kingdom is priceless and eternal. It's irreplaceable and unbreakable," he said.
