The other shows up for the top award include The Breakfast Club, The Mel Robbins Podcast, Pablo Torre Finds Out, The Rest Is History, This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von, Heavyweight and Giggly Squad. Fans will vote on the winner during a voting period starting Jan. 14 and running through Feb. 22. Good Hang, Call Her Daddy and The Mel Robbins Podcast were also all nominated for the Golden Globe for best podcast, with Good Hang taking home the award Sunday. Las Culturistas with Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang took home the iHeartPodcast Award last year. The awards will also be live-broadcast on select iHeartMedia radio stations and on the iHeartRadio app. The show also encompasses several competitive categories across genres such as comedy, crime, sports, news, business and pop culture. Those winners are determined by a panel of industry leaders and creatives. Additionally, iHeartMedia will present the 2026 Social Impact Award to podcast host Jay Shetty for his conversations around mental health. Terry Gross, host of NPR's Fresh Air, will receive the 2026 Audible Audio Pioneer Award for her impactful career. Hrishikesh Hirway, creator of the podcast Song Exploder, will receive the 2026 Innovator Award for his creative approach to showcasing music in podcast form. "Podcasting continues to be one of the most vibrant and fast-growing mediums in media today," said Will Pearson, president of iHeartPodcasts. "We are thrilled to return to Austin and ACL Live at the Moody Theater to celebrate the storytellers who are pushing the boundaries of audio.
