One such moment that has gone mega viral involves Mark Ruffalo, who was nominated for Best Actor in a Television Series - Drama for his role in Task. The pin was paying homage to Renee Nicole Good, the Minnesota woman killed by an ICE agent last week. MICHAEL TRAN / AFP via Getty Images Here's what Ruffalo had to say about his pin, and the state of America on the Globes red carpet: "We have a vice president who's lying about what's happening, we're in the middle of a war with Venezuela, that we illegally invaded," Ruffalo says. "[Trump is] telling the world that international law doesn't matter to him. The only thing that matters to him is his own morality, but the guy is a convicted felon...he's the worst human being. If we're relying on this guy's morality for the most powerful country in the world, then we're all in a lot of trouble." I love this country, and what I'm seeing here happening is not America." He was one of the hundreds of signatories on Artists4Ceasefire's open letter urging then-President Joe Biden to call for a ceasefire, and he's worn an Artists4Ceasefire pin on multiple red carpets. Online, people are applauding Ruffalo for using his celebrity platform to speak out against ICE and the Trump administration.
