Former The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Crystal Kung Minkoff is weighing in on the ongoing mom group drama in Hollywood. "I know, probably, 70 percent of the mom group because we all went to preschool together. We're all the same group," Minkoff, 42, said during the Monday, January 12, episode of her "Humble Brag" podcast, while talking with Million Dollar Listing star Tracy Tutor. "One went to the same high school as us." Minkoff briefly explained the situation to Tudor, 50, noting that it got "so big" after Tisdale, 40, wrote an essay about leaving her "toxic mom group" for The Cut. "It's everywhere everyone's talking about it," Minkoff said, telling listeners she was going to be "broader" about the discussion. "I don't want to give too much tea about it because it's their personal stuff. I just found it really interesting," Minkoff continued. "I posted on Threads the other day a joke, like, 'Oh, this is so 2021, I already went through this.'" Stars React to Ashley Tisdale's Viral Mom Group Drama: Willa Ford and More People online started linking Minkoff to Tisdale after the then-Bravo star revealed that she lost "14 friends" after making her RHOBH debut in 2021. "What I found interesting is that Ashley's story was that she left the group, and my story is [that] I didn't leave the group," Minkoff recalled. "I did the show, and they just said - I did a whole episode about this so it's not untold - they all went against me and dropped me." Minkoff explained on Monday's podcast episode that Tisdale is "getting all the heat" because it's a "super celeb group," which reportedly includes Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore and Meghan Trainor, among others. A rep for Tisdale denied speculation that the essay was about the A-listers, but Minkoff isn't convinced. "I just wonder, what was she thinking was gonna happen?" Minkoff said of Tisdale. "That's not my group. I just know them all because we were all the same preschool. I remember there [were] issues then. Someone wasn't included." Minkoff added, "I do think that if that was happening to her, she wasn't reading it wrong. You know, if you're being pushed out." Minkoff revealed she did "message" one of the alleged toxic moms. "I was like, 'I gotta know what's going on.' They said, 'It's so ironic that we're the toxic ones and she's on her own,'" the RHOBH alum continued. "I have mixed feelings about it, because I know this group. I don't know Ashley at all. I've met Ashley a couple times, but I don't know her at all." Breaking Down Ashley Tisdale's Mom Group Drama: A Complete Timeline Minkoff noted that Tisdale is getting "a lot of s*** right now" because people like Duff are "so beloved" in Hollywood. "Ashley's getting 90 percent hate," Minkoff told listeners. "I kept mine private. I didn't want anyone to know. It all came from other sources." Minkoff further explained that she would "feel connected" to Tisdale's side even if she "didn't know the players" in the situation. "I went through this. I lived it. So my initial [feeling] is I feel for all sides, because I know the group. I will say, someone like Hillary, I've known her for 10 years. Super sweet," she said. "I cannot see her being a mean girl like that, but it's dynamic. So, I feel for Ashley."
