What was going on with Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner?? Just like their relationship the past few months, they were so hot and cold at the Golden Globes! On Sunday night, the pair stepped out to attend the awards ceremony. Kylie skipped the red carpet, opting to let the nominee have his moment in the spotlight alone, but they reunited inside the venue and were seated at a table together. The Golden Globes posted a BTS clip of the couple arriving at their table ahead of the televised show. The pair can be seen whispering to one another. Ky looks animated with a large smile before she flashes Timmy had a VERY stern expression, shakes her head no, looks pretty sad for a second, and then plasters on a huge smile and greets the others at their table. According to lip reader Nicola Hickling per DailyMail.com, their quick convo suggests there was trouble in paradise! The expert claims the 30-year-old leans into the model at the start of the video, telling her: "You must hate me." Um, what?? Why?! The Kardashians star shockingly didn't deny it, either! She replies, "Yes!" OMG! The performer then seemingly asked her: "Were you worried?" Kylie hit back with: "It was a bold yes." Worried about what?? Hmm. It remains unclear, but it's at this point the 28-year-old's smile vanishes. As the Call Me By Your Name alum starts to take his seat, he remarks: "You look bothered." Kylie suggests she is, saying: "Not here. You're annoying." Jeez!!! So tense! When Timothée was announced as Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy, for his role in Marty Supreme, he actually opted to hug the man sitting next to him, director Josh Safdie, BEFORE his girlfriend! He then turned toward Ky and went right in for a VERY quick peck on her lips, and even she seemed thrown off by it. They stood up at the same time, uncomfortably avoiding contact as she looked away and frowned. Timmy then awkwardly lingered in the area, unsure what to do, while refusing to ever look back at Kylie, who stared in the opposite direction as he made his way to the stage. Yikes!!
