The 2026 Golden Globe Awards kicked off Hollywood's awards season, honouring the year's best in film and TV. The 83rd Golden Globe Awards ceremony was hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser, who opened her monologue by saying, "The Golden Globes: without a doubt the most important thing that's happening in the world right now!" She followed it with "we'll start the bidding for Warner Bros. at $5."Oscar frontrunner One Battle After Another led all nominees with nine, and took home four major awards including best motion picture - musical or comedy.

Teyana Taylor broke down in tears accepting her first-ever Golden Globe for her supporting role in One Battle After Another.
