2025 had its fair share of box office disappointments, but one of the most surprising was Edgar Wright's sci-fi movie The Running Man. Like the 1987 original film with Arnold Schwarzenegger, this massively entertaining remake adapts Stephen King's classic 1982 dystopian novel of the same name. Set in the near future, The Running Man stars Glen Powell as Ben Richards, a working-class everyman who enters a deadly competition show to earn some cash to help his sick daughter. With the odds stacked against him, Ben will have to use all of his wits to survive.
