Georgia authorities have arrested a 23-year-old father for the role they allege he played in the violent shaking death of his newborn daughter. Douglasville Police said that Geordy Josue Hernandez Ventura is being held without bond after being charged with murder, aggravated assault and cruelty to children stemming from the death just days before Christmas of 3-month-old Isela Hernandez. Cops said that interviews conducted as part of their investigation as well as forensic evidence showed the newborn was handled violently by her dad.
