Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany Aldean, are kicking off 2026 with a special collaboration. The couple released their first-ever duet titled "Easier Gone" on Friday, January 9. "You were easier gone / You were easier outta this town / Hey, I almost had this lettin' you go thing figured out," the pair sing in the chorus. "Yeah, it was easy to lie / To myself on a Friday night / When I wasn't face to face with how good you look movin' on / Yeah, you were easier gone." The lyrics continue to tell the story of a man who experiences an unexpected run-in with an ex at a bar. What comes next is a feeling of wishing he'd never seen her in the first place. Jason and Brittany Aldean's Relationship Timeline "I wish I didn't know your name / Wish you were just another stranger," Jason, 48, sings. "So you walkin' in this bar wouldn't put my broken heart in danger / I wish I didn't know your drink." The track is featured on his upcoming album, Songs About Us, which is expected to be released on April 24. While some fans may be surprised to learn of Brittany's musical skills, the Nashville resident previously appeared on season 11 of American Idol in 2012. After impressing judges Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler with her rendition of "Spoiled" by Joss Stone, Brittany - who was an NBA dancer at the time - made it to Hollywood week before she was eliminated. She went on to marry Jason on a beach in Mexico in March 2015. The couple share kids Memphis, 8, and Navy, 6. (Jason is also dad to Kelley, 22, and Kendyl, 18, with ex-wife Jessica Ussery.)
