The Indian Motion Picture Producers' Association (IMPPA) has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging the Centre to intervene in the ban imposed on the film Dhurandhar across several Middle Eastern countries. Despite its record-breaking success in India, the film did not secure a theatrical release in the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Saudi Arabia. In its letter, IMPPA described the move as unjustified and a direct blow to creative freedom.
