Kartik Aaryan has two major releases lined up, both carrying strong mass appeal. One of them is Naagzilla, a comic caper that features the actor as a shape shifting naag. The film was announced last year and was initially slated for an August 14 release to capitalise on the Independence Day weekend. However, the release plans are now being reconsidered. Explaining the delay, a source told Bollywood Hungama, "Naagzilla's shoot is still going on and is expected to be wrapped up in a few months. Moreover, this is a film with heavy VFX.
