Khloé Kardashian is in favor of her sisters keeping their romantic relationships private. "How does your family decide when information is public versus private? For example, in a new relationship, what decisions go into where and when to announce?" Kardashian, 41, read a fan's question on the Wednesday, January 7, episode of the "Khloé in Wonderland" podcast. "That's a great question." Kardashian explained that she is not sure whether there's a "real method to the madness" when it comes to the spotlight. "None of us are really sitting and talking about, 'Oh, in three weeks we should talk about [how] I'm dating this person.' That doesn't happen. I think you just know when you're dating someone, if you're just dating and you know this isn't going anywhere, you're sort of just casually dating someone," Kardashian shared. "But if you're in a real relationship, where you are head over heels [in love], then you might want to be more public with that person." Timothee Chalamet Wants to Be 'Private' After Debuting Kylie Jenner Romance She continued, "I don't think you can compare any of the relationships. Like, everyone just has to be an individual thought process, I guess, onto when you would want to go public with someone or not. But, I don't know." Kardashian, who was previously married to Lamar Odom and had a lengthy on-again, off-again relationship with now-ex Tristan Thompson, reflected on her own past experiences without naming names. (Kardashian shares daughter True, 7, and son Tatum, 3, with Thompson, 34.) "I, personally, from my past experiences, the longer you can keep something private, I think the better the chances are for that relationship. But also, you might be dating someone and be like, 'I'm just sleeping with this person. I'm not making this public at all.' You can sleep with them for two years and you never want to make it public. You just have to know the energy of that relationship." Kardashian's comments come days after sister Kylie Jenner made headlines for publicly supporting boyfriend Timothée Chalamet at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards. At the awards show, Chalamet, 30, accepted a trophy for his role in Marty Supreme - and gave a rare public shout-out to Jenner, 28. Kylie Jenner Explains Being Protective of Personal Life Amid Timothee Romance "Thank you to my partner of three years. Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn't do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart," he said at the Sunday, January 4, event, as the cameras panned to a smiling Jenner. Kardashian, for her part, has gone through "a lot of therapy" and "self reflection" after her public relationships. "Like, 'Why do I keep picking these people?'" she exclusively told Us Weekly in 2025 of her reflecting on her dating history. "And now I feel like I'm really strong, and I pray I can identify certain red flags or certain things that I don't want to receive anymore. And I think you're going to have to be really special to either disrupt my current lifestyle, my schedule and how I prioritize my time, and just to even make me feel those butterflies. I think I'm pretty guarded right now, so it will have to be a special, persistent person."
