Authorities in Illinois, North Carolina, and Tennessee are asking for the public's help in locating a missing special education teacher and two girls - ages 10 and 13 - who vanished within the last year. Linda Brown, 53, was last seen on Saturday, January 3, leaving her Chicago home for an acupuncture appointment she never showed up for, according to her husband, Antwon Brown. "The hours ... went past" and at "around 1:30, 2 p.m., I'm starting to wonder, like, 'What's going on?'" said the concerned husband. "She hasn't called me, because she normally would call me and tell me where she is going. She never did." He said Linda left her home with her credit cards, purse, and phone. "I am terrified," Brown said. "I am just shaking. I need my wife home." Linda, a teacher at Robert Healy Elementary School in Bridgeport, stands 5-feet tall, and weighs between 130 and 140 pounds, according to the Chicago Police. She has a fair complexion and brown hair and eyes. Linda was last seen wearing shiny UGG-style boots and a long black puffy coat. Chicago Police said that Linda "may be in need of medical assistance." Linda Brown Chicago Teacher's Union Erin Kamradt, the school's principal, sent a note home to families about Linda's disappearance. "I know that news like this can cause many emotions, questions, and concerns for our school community," she wrote, urging people who know anything to come forward. "Please know that we are partnering with the CPS Crisis Management Unit to support our students and staff members." The Cherokee Indian Police Department has been searching for 10-year-old Shania Woodall since April 5, 2025. She is believed to be with her mother, Amanda Woodall, who is wanted by the Cherokee Tribal Court on outstanding felony warrants. And in Tennessee, the Sevier County Sheriff's Office is hoping someone's seen 13-year-old Molly Kate Dixon, who has been described as an endangered runaway. When she was last seen, Molly was wearing a white tank top and pink pajama pants.
