It turns out Ashley Tisdale doesn't just have a bad rep with her former mom group... Years before her friend drama exploded, Anneliese van der Pol, best known for her role as Chelsea Daniels on That's So Raven, spilled about an interaction she had with her fellow Disney Channel alum - and it was apparently super "uncomfortable!" Yikes! The actress revealed to her co-host, Christy Carlson Romano, another Disney Channel star, on their Big Names podcast back in August 2023 that she once had to serve Ashley while working as a waitress. Anneliese explained she worked at New York City's Salvation Burger, Salvation Taco, and Tavern on the Green for "about a year" as a server after her gig on the network came to an end. And while she was "really proud" of herself, she felt a lot of judgment from those who recognized her: "I was really proud of myself. You have to do a lot of multitasking, but the disappointment, the look, the drop of faces when they'd recognized me was truly gut-wrenching. It was almost like I had to say, 'I'm OK. I'm actually really happy that I don't have to audition and am doing something that I know I'm good at.' I know when I clean a table or bring a meal that I can do that, and there won't be any mistakes. I won't be judged. Essentially, I kind of was judged." During one of her shifts, Anneliese "ran into" The Suite Life of Zack & Cody alum and had to serve her. Christy couldn't believe it and became even more flabbergasted by her co-host's next confession. The Raven's Home alum added: "I want to say she was lovely, but ..." Damn! Instead of finishing the sentence, Anneliese took a sip from her cocktail. Come on, girl! Don't leave all of us hanging! She, unfortunately, didn't get into too many details about their interaction. The Broadway star noted Ashley did not necessarily "do anything" wrong, but she was "uncomfortable for me." Oof. When Christy mentioned she would've given her the "fattest f**king tip," Anneliese replied: "You would've been 'Oh, my God! Hi!" However, that is NOT how Ashley reacted! According to Anneliese, she was "so uncomfortable" to the point where the Over It singer wanted to tell her: "'I'm fine, girl.'" Yeesh! Watch the two talk about Ashley (below): The podcast episode resurfaced this week as Ashley went viral for exposing her "toxic mom group" in a scathing essay for The Cut. She claimed her former friends made her feel like she was back in high school again, all because they started acting like mean girls and excluding her from events. Once Ashley realized the "dynamic stopped being healthy and positive" for her, she decided to cut ties with them. Those friends are supposedly a celeb mom group involving Mandy Moore, Hilary Duff, and Meghan Trainor. However, as we all know, there are two sides to every story. A source close to the mom group claimed to The US Sun the High School Musical alum created the "extremely toxic dynamic" - not them. According to the insider, her political views, "the amount of self-absorption she showed," and her interest "in things that benefited her" became off-putting. She reportedly didn't even take the time to check in on or help her friends, including Mandy, impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires. If you have your doubts about the report, look to Hilary's husband, Matthew Koma. He called out Ashley for being "the most self obsessed" and "tone deaf person on earth." Jeez. And now with these comments from Anneliese resurfacing, it's hard to believe Ashley was totally innocent here... Reactions?? Let us know in the comments!
