Gypsy Rose Blanchard is looking to her faith journey following the release of THOSE videos. If you're not sure what videos we're talking about, last month the 34-year-old was caught up in a lot of controversy when the Freedom of Information Act came home to roost. The Into The Weeds YouTube channel released a ton of clips that Gypsy had allegedly sent her then-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn prior to the murder of her mother Dee Dee Blanchard. These videos contained some super disturbing fantasies, including Gypsy's self-proclaimed "evil side" and horrific promises she made to her ex, such as saying he'd be the one to take their future daughters' virginity when they turned 13. WILD stuff, y'all! She did give somewhat of a response to all of this, writing on her socials at the time: "I'm not proud of those videos. They were recorded during a period of extreme trauma, coercive control, and emotional dependency. People in these dynamics often say and do things that don't reflect who they truly are. I am not the same person today. I've received treatment, therapy, and have done years of healing work. If you or someone you love is in a controlling or abusive relationship, help is available. You deserve safety and support." This wasn't good enough in a lot of her followers' eyes, though! The comments got so bad, we presume, that she limited her replies to people she follows only. And now, after all that mess, Gypsy has turned to "faith". In a new Instagram video she posted on Tuesday, she explained how she's "leaving" some things in 2025 following the new year, including "the need to explain myself and my past": "The fact is, no one needs access to my thoughts, my emotions, or my healing. And that is something I am learning to put in God's hands." Hmm... Of course, we can't say that's what's going on here, but it's something we've definitely seen before! And the timing is... interesting. She continued: "[I need to] let go of things I can't control. And that's something that I think resonates with so many people. We all try to make life happen the way we would want it to be. And what I've come to understand is that God is going to do things in his timing, not ours. It takes patience and faith to know that he has a bigger plan than what we have for ourselves." Gypsy went on to explain how she believes she often would "push and push and push" to make something happen in her life that "wouldn't be good" for her "at that time, or maybe at all": "We are taking our own lives and trying to make our own path, and say this is the way our life should be. But really, that's not up to us." Wrapping up her video, she said "things might be a little rough right now," but that's just life, according to her. She explained how when you're "at your bottom" you need to "release everything to [God] and let go of what you think your plan is for yourself, and let his plan" take over.
