In a first look photo released by Netflix on Wednesday, December 7, Partridge, 22, who portrays Tewkesbury, can be seen down on one knee in front of Brown, 21, who stars as the titular character. Tewkesbury is holding a flower in the shape of a ring in front of Enola while she sits on a bed with a shocked expression. According to the film's synopsis, Enola has opened her own detective agency and finds herself in Malta for a case.
