Patterson, the world's best-selling author with more than 450 million books sold to date and more than 100 New York Times #1 bestsellers (a Guinness world record), will now be represented by the agency, which is led by CEO David Kramer "I started writing to connect with people, spark imaginations, and inspire a lifelong love of reading," Patterson said in a statement. "I feel deeply grateful to have been able to do that for so many years. I'm excited to begin this next chapter with UTA as we explore new opportunities together and continue sharing stories that matter." He has also co-authored books alongside people like Bill Clinton, Dolly Parton and Michael Crichton with upcoming projects alongside Jimmy "MrBeast" Donaldson and Viola Davis. Last month he released a thriller, The Last Days of Marilyn Monroe, which dives into the blonde bombshells life and final days (he previously wrote a similar book about John Lennon). He told THR he has ideas for other editions of the series: "Elvis is a possibility for sure. Gene Hackman." Based in Palm Beach, Florida, Patterson has given away more than $200 million to support teachers, booksellers, and literacy initiatives.
