In a Tuesday profile for W Magazine, the Bugonia actress admitted that the Salt Lake City-based Real Housewives franchise is her favorite reality TV show. But her fanfare extends beyond just tuning in weekly, as Stone explained she waited outside a New York City courthouse when former cast member Jen Shah was sentenced to 6.5 years in prison in 2023. "I am really invested. When Jen Shah was getting sentenced in New York, my brother and I waited outside for two hours in the freezing cold just for a chance to see her. But I live in New York. We walked over there," Stone said. "Her getting arrested on camera was wild." Shah fled the scene prior before they arrived, claiming her husband was in the hospital, though it's all-but confirmed she was tipped off on camera as she locked eyes with said camera and requested a fellow housewife take off her mic. While Shah initially received a sentence of 6.5 years, it was reduced a number of times, leading to her Dec. 10 release from prison. Bureau of Prisons spokesperson Emery Nelson confirmed she was transferred from the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, on Dec. 10 to a community confinement program, meaning she is now either in home confinement or a halfway house. Nelson also confirmed Shah's new projected release date is Aug. 30, 2026. She served almost three years of her initial 6.5 year sentence. Stone continued to rave about RHOSLC, noting that she'd been catching up on episodes from the series' sixth installment, pinpointing the crossover special with Bravo's Below Deck Down Under. "And Bronwyn [Newport], you've never seen anyone dress like this in real life. It's phenomenal," she continued. "Yesterday, I was catching up on two episodes. They're on a boat trip, and Bronwyn is wearing a life raft around her waist, but it's part of her sailing outfit. Everything is sort of a costume. I love it." Elsewhere in the interview, the two-time Oscar winner spoke about her late friend Diane Keaton, and the impact she had on her. "She will always be my North Star, ultimate hero, because she taught me about not wanting to emulate anyone else, including her," Stone explained. "She taught me how valuable it is to the world to realize who you are and what you can contribute. In so many facets, not just as the brilliant actor that she was, but as a director, photographer, curator of coffee table books, a person who made wines - she was just so herself. Houses, fashion, everything about her was one of a kind and completely Diane." Stone added that Keaton is "the person who really made me realize that the most valuable thing you can be is yourself, authentically. She was the best ever." When asked about Keaton's trait to be "very funny and very dramatic," Stone remembered her as "just so alive."
