Win some, lose some... Prince Harry is reportedly about to secure his right to taxpayer-funded security in the UK, something he's been fighting for ever since he stopped being a working royal in 2020! It's a big deal for him - however, it could pose more problems in his romance with Meghan Markle! Royal author Christopher Andersen pointed out to Us Weekly on Monday why this deal going through isn't a good thing for the Suits alum, sharing: "This puts Meghan in a rather awkward position, since I really don't think she is eager to return to what she sees as a somewhat hostile environment." Oof. Related: Meghan Markle Reportedly Releasing Cookbook - And Fans Are Roasting Her for It! Harry is reportedly eager to get back to his home country and has even been floating the idea of his kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, attending school in the UK. So far, Meghan has NOT been on the same page! And without security protections, the Duke was never going to let his kids set foot in the UK, so it wasn't really an option on the table. But now, that's all changing! The schooling issue is a problem for another day at this point. The kids are still so young, anyway. It's not like they'll have to deal with waitlists like us peasants. What's more pressing is the royal estrangement, which is why the royal expert believes Harry's travel intentions would mainly be focused on reuniting the family at first. Andersen continued: "If Harry and Meghan do return to London with Archie and Lilibet, it will be so the children can begin to forge some sort of real relationship with their grandfather, the king." King Charles III has shown great interest in reconciling with his youngest son. We're sure he'd love to see his grandchildren, too! The Brothers and Wives writer reflected: "Charles is a huge softy when it comes to his grandkids, so I'm sure they'd be welcomed with open arms. But that doesn't mean that Harry will ever be fully embraced by the royal family and allowed to return to some sort of semi-official role. That ship has sailed - and that goes double for Meghan." That's for sure... So, just because they will (soon) be able to travel with less worry, it doesn't mean family tensions are going to get any easier! Do U think this security win will ultimately lead to more marital woes for the already at-odds pair?? Or can they figure this out? Let us know (below)!
