Tineke "Tini" Younger is speaking out after the heartbreaking loss of one of her twins. You may remember the TikTok chef as the creator of the mac n cheese recipe that overtook the world a few years back during Thanksgiving. She's grown her following across all social media platforms and has become an iconic staple in the cooking world, but sadly back in November she shared some tragic news. On Instagram, she revealed she suffered a placental abruption while pregnant with twin girls, and sadly lost one of the babies named Arya. She explained in a post at the time: "This isn't the post I ever thought I would share once the twins came, unfortunately earlier this week we lost our sweet girl Arya (Baby A) We made it to almost 36 weeks we were so close to being done and getting the girls to term but I had a placenta abruption and we lost our sweet girl." Thankfully, the second twin survived and was doing okay after this, per the caption: "Her twin sister is doing really good and breathing on her own. They both are so beautiful and Arya will always be celebrated, her sister will know she is a twin and has a beautiful twin sister. I will be taking a break, not sure for how long but I promise I will be back. I love you guys " See the full post (below): View this post on Instagram A post shared by Tineke Younger (@tiniyounger) Related: Melissa Mae Carlton Reveals Youngest Daughter Died 1 Year After Other Daughter's Passing According to the Mayo Clinic, a placental abruption is when "the placenta partly or completely separates from the inner wall of the uterus before delivery. This can decrease or block the baby's supply of oxygen and nutrients and cause heavy bleeding in the mother". Just devastating. We can't imagine the grief she and her husband Antoine Wright Jr. are experiencing. In the new year Tini is giving her followers an update, though. On Friday, she took to the 'gram with a few new photos of herself and her newborn she identifies simply as L. She wrote in the caption: "Just wanted to hop on socials real quick and just let everyone know L (baby b) is doing good, we love her so much. We remind her everyday about Arya and Arya definitely plays with her sister in her dreams, L loves to smile in her sleep" Aww... Sadly, though, she continued to say she suffered "some complications" postpartum: "I'm not sure when I will be back, I'm still emotionally and physically trying to heal, I've had some complications during my postpartum which I'm still trying to recover from. Thank you to everyone who sends love" Ugh! We hope she makes a full recovery. We just need to know you are healing" "take AS MUCH TIME AS YOU NEED YOU DONT OWE ANYONE ANYTHING !!!!!!" "We'll be here for you when you're ready!! Take all the time you need!!" "Thank you for updating when you certainly didn't have to. We all love you." "I'm so happy baby B is doing good but simultaneously so so sorry for you guys' loss. I hope 2026 is so healing for you" Our heart is with Tini, Antoine, and their families. May they find some peace amid all their grief.
