A United States Postal Service worker is facing several charges after allegedly trying to run over a small child in his mail delivery truck. The incident began when William White delivered a package to the wrong house in Escambia County, Florida, on December 27, 2025. A 10-year-old boy, whose family owned the home, noticed that the package had been delivered to the incorrect address. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the boy - who has not been named publicly by authorities - then took the piece of mail and put it onto his electric scooter so that he could drop it off at the right house.
