Variety / Via youtube.com As I'm sure you know, the 51-year-old star went through a phase where he never dated a woman over 25 years old, with people noticing a pattern of him ending years-long relationships shortly after his girlfriend's 25th birthday. Gilbert Flores / Getty Images It's worth noting that his current girlfriend, Italian model Vittoria Ceretti, became the first to break that pattern. The two actually struck up their relationship when she was already 25 years old, back in 2023, and they're still together now. (If you're wondering, Vittoria is currently the ripe old age of...27.) Gilbert Flores / Getty Images During the Actors on Actors conversation, Jennifer referenced the fact that Leo played a father to a teenage daughter for the first time ever in his most recent film, One Battle After Another. Leo's daughter was played by Chase Infiniti, who is 25 in real life. Eloisa Sanchez / Getty Images Reflecting on their dynamic, Jen told Leo: "I really loved seeing you be a dad... Like, I'm so sad that you don't have a teenage daughter." As Leo nervously chucked in response, Jen then quipped: "You'd look great with one!" Variety / Via youtube.com It didn't take long for people to speculate that Jen was expertly poking fun at Leo's history of dating women who are young enough to be his daughter, while also reminding him of his own age - and the whole thing quickly went viral. You can watch the clip below and read more about it here. @varietymagazine #JenniferLawrence says #LeonardoDiCaprio would "look great" with a teenage daughter and "loved" seeing him as a dad in "One Battle After Another." Kevin Winter / Getty Images As I'm sure you know, the Critics' Choice Awards took place last night, and Leo was nominated in the Best Actor category for One Battle After Another. Chelsea Handler was this year's host, and she couldn't resist making a jab about his friendship with Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos - who Leo spent New Year's with on a $250 million super yacht in St. Barts. Kevin Winter / Getty Images Speaking to the crowd, Chelsea quipped: "Leo's here, thank god. Leo almost didn't make it tonight because he was trapped on a boat in St. Barts!" E! / Via x.com The camera then cut to Leo, who seemed to realize exactly where Chelsea was going with the joke as he began to laugh. Chelsea continued: "It was just like the Titanic, but worse because Jeff Bezos was there!" E! / Via x.com At this point, Leo was full-on belly laughing, and his good-natured response did not go unnoticed by people at home, who reacted to the whole bit across social media. One of the top responses to the clip on a popular Reddit forum reads: "Leo just relieved its not a dating under 25 joke." E! / Via x.com "Leo never squirms. At least he also has the balls to show up and take the jokes," somebody else noted. E! / Via x.com Others questioned if Chelsea's comment could even be defined as a "roast," with one user pointing out: "It's more of a roast of Jeff Bezos than Leo. I don't think Leo feels being on a yacht in st Barts with his gorgeous girlfriend is something horrible." Kevin Mazur / Getty Images Somebody else urged: "Roast him harder next time, Chelsea."One more echoed: "soft roast. needed to crank it up a notch."But another use rebuked: "It's an awards show, what do you want, an inquisition?" Leo - who has been in the industry since 1989 - has always breezily brushed off the scrutiny that comes with being in the public eye, and told the Observer back in 2024 that he is too grateful for his career to be bothered by the criticism. Nbc / Getty Images "As far as my personal life is concerned, my answer is pretty simple," Leo explained at the time. "I got into this industry at a very young age. I felt incredibly compelled to do this. And the irony is that I was born and raised in Hollywood. People think: 'Oh, OK, just add water', right? But I tried to become an actor multiple times and I got rejected." Cbs Photo Archive / Getty Images "And at 12 or 13 years old, one of those agents said: 'OK, we'll give you a shot.' Since then, it's felt like winning the lottery. And to be hone
