Charles Melton is embarking on a new role in 2026 - dad. "Making a lil family," Melton's pregnant girlfriend, Camille Summers-Valli, wrote via Instagram on Friday, January 2, sharing a handful of maternity photos. Melton, 35, adorably kissed Summers-Valli's bare baby bump in one snap and joined her at an OB-GYN appointment in another. "Mom and dad!!! Love you both so much," Melton's Warfare costar Michael Gandolfini commented on the announcement, while influencer Constance Govare added, "Oh my love ♥️♥️♥️♥️." Summer-Valli is a filmmaker, best known for directing Haim's "Relationships" music video and a 2025 ad campaign for Coach. Summers-Valli has kept her past relationships under wraps, while Melton was romantically linked to his Riverdale costar Camila Mendes from 2018 to 2021 and Chase Sui Wonders the next year. "People need to mind their own f***ing business, honestly," Melton told Hunger magazine in 2019, referring to the onslaught of fan attention on his relationship status. "I don't have Twitter and it's one of the reasons why I don't read through all my comments on social media, because people are always going to talk." According to Melton, his rising Hollywood career subsequently impacted how much of his personal life he's willing to share with fans. "I think, in a sense, I'm a little more cognizant about what I say or do now, but as far as what I decide to post on my social media, it's my choice to show these parts of my life," the Sun Is Also a Star actor told the outlet. "If people want to spend their time going out of their way to find out something else about me that maybe I didn't want to share, then that's on you."
