Indeed, after filming Wicked and its sequel Wicked For Good, costume designer Paul Tazwell revealed where Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo's wardrobes from the film are now. "They get archived by Universal," Paul exclusively told Keltie McKnight's Live From E!: Critics Choice Awards at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards hosted by Chelsea Handler, Jan. 4. "They're held very carefully, thermostatically controlled." Although some looks have been put away, fans can still take a look at some of the wickedly beautiful pieces the designer-who is nominated in the Best Costume Design category for Wicked: For Good at the 31st annual ceremony airing on E! and USA Network-created for the John Chu-directed film. That will be showing that and people can go and experience them for themselves in person."readHow to Watch the Critics Choice Awards 2026 and Live From E! Red CarpetBut it turns out, there is one of Ariana's Glinda ensembles that didn't grace the silver screen. "There were three major looks that we did at the very end of filming and this one, it was a spiral dress," Paul explained. "It was both green and pink and it was for her to come off the train and to greet her fans-the Galinda scouts." But when it comes to the wardrobe for Wicked, Paul will always be a sentimental man. After all, Ariana-who is also nominated for Best Supporting Actress-and Cynthia were his muses.

"They are fashion-forward and are always thinking about what looks best on them." "And then they translate that into how they want to play these characters that are so very moving-both individually and together, how they resolve their relationship," he continued. "So, on so many levels, it was so satisfying." To see more wickedly popular looks at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards red carpet, keep reading.
