Adenyi Mobalaji Kayode, 46, was behind the wheel of the Lexus SUV on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway when it slammed into a stationary truck. The Ogun State Police Command said Kayode was arraigned in Sagamu Magistrate Court on Friday and charged with reckless and dangerous driving causing death. Additional charges reportedly include driving without a valid license, and driving without due care and attention, resulting in bodily harm and property damage. He was granted five million naira ($3,500) bail but will remain in custody until he meets the conditions. Furthermore, his next court date is set for January 20.
