Meghan McCain and her husband, Ben Domenech, are officially parents of three. "Everyone is happy, healthy and exhausted," McCain, 41, told People on Saturday, January 3, confirming the pair welcomed their third baby. "We're absolutely over the moon that our baby boy is here." McCain gave birth to son Ransom via C-section on Friday, January 2. "We're so grateful to the incredible doctors and medical staff who took such wonderful care of all of us," the mom of three told the outlet. "Liberty and Clover are so excited to have a baby brother. Our family is so blessed." McCain announced her third pregnancy on her "Citizen McCain" podcast in June 2025, sharing the news with second lady Usha Vance. "I hope you don't mind. I wanted to let you in on something that's private that I haven't talked about publicly yet," McCain said at the time. "I have two little girls. They are almost 5 and almost 3. And I just am entering my second trimester; I'm pregnant with my third." McCain joked that it was "a weird way to announce" the expansion of her family before revealing the sex of her third baby. "It's a boy," she confirmed. "I'm very nervous about having a boy. And I'm very nervous about having three children. Very." The following month, McCain gushed over Domenech's support during her pregnancy. And of course for reading to our girls the best stories every night before bed to help them fall asleep." She added: "I read a line [recently] that said, 'How do you do it all? Well, I didn't marry a loser for one.' 😆." McCain then called out the naysayers who doubted the longevity of her relationship with Domenech early on. "[Liberty] does this thing with her hands, and [my dad] used to do that all the time. I don't do it. I don't know where it comes from, but she does it even now," she explained during an episode of the "Me Becoming Mom" podcast. "I told my mother-in-law it creeps me out when she does it because it's this tic my dad used to do with his hands."
