TikTok influencer and chef Tineke "Tini" Younger is sharing a candid update after the death of her twin daughter, Arya. "Just wanted to hop on socials real quick and just let everyone know L (baby b) is doing good, we love her so much. We remind her everyday about Arya and Arya definitely plays with her sister in her dreams, L loves to smile in her sleep," Younger, 24, wrote via Instagram on Friday, January 2, alongside various photos of her living daughter, Baby B, during the holiday season. "I'm not sure when I will be back, I'm still emotionally and physically trying to heal, I've had some complications during my postpartum which I'm still trying to recover from," she continued. "Thank you to everyone who sends love." The social media influencer announced she lost Arya, also referred to as Baby A, in November after suffering a potentially life-threatening pregnancy-related complication. Mackenzie Douthit Sends Condolences to Tini Younger After Loss of Baby Girl "This isn't the post I ever thought I would share once the twins came, unfortunately earlier this week we lost our sweet girl Arya (Baby A)," she wrote via Instagram and Facebook at the time. "We made it almost 36 weeks we were so close to being done and getting the girls to term but I had a placenta abruption and we lost our sweet girl." According to the Mayo Clinic, a placenta abruption is an "uncommon yet serious" pregnancy complication in which the placenta partly or completely separates from the "inner wall of the uterus before delivery," which can "decrease or block" the supply of oxygen and nutrients to the fetus while causing "heavy bleeding in the mother." "Her twin sister is doing really good and breathing on her own," Younger continued at the time, referring to her surviving daughter, Baby B. "They both are so beautiful and Arya will always be celebrated, her sister will know she is a twin and has a beautiful twin sister. I will be taking a break, not sure for how long but I promise I will be back. I love you guys." View this post on Instagram Along with her caption, Younger posted a heartbreaking black-and-white photo of her and husband Antoine Wright Jr. holding baby Arya. Shortly after Younger announced her loss, Teen Mom star Mackenzie Douthit sent her condolences to the influencer while sharing her own experience as a mom of twins. "My heart is completely shattered for you!" Douthit, 31, wrote in a comment on the social media star's announcement. "I wish so badly doctors would stop forcing twin moms to try and carry so long." The reality TV star then discussed the complications she endured during the birth of her and Khesanio Hall's twin daughters Ja'Kharie and Ja'Meikah in June. "Both of my placentas abrupted, I knew they did, and my doctor refused to listen and take the babies," she said at the time. "I had to go to another hospital and let doctors I never met take the twins at 31 weeks. No one ever talks about this. You are so so deep in my prayers."
