Authorities in Ohio have arrested a 41-year-old mother they allege admitted to killing her toddler daughter by placing a plastic bag over her head. Sharon Sakoulos called 911 on Wednesday, December 31, to report her daughter Cassidy, 3, was not breathing, WSYX reports. When first responders arrived at Sakoulos' home at approximately 5:35 p.m., they claimed the mother was waiting for them outside, smoking a cigarette, the station reports. Sakoulos allegedly told police she watched Cassidy slowly suffocate after she placed the plastic bag over the little girl's head.
