Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy has some thoughts about Zach Bryan's new wife. "There ain't no way that ain't a Brianna robot," Portnoy, 48, shared via X on Friday, January 2. "Ain't no way." Portnoy was referring to coworker and friend Brianna "Chickenfry" LaPaglia, who previously dated Bryan, 29, from 2023 to 2024. Bryan revealed via Instagram on Wednesday, December 31, that he married girlfriend Samantha Leonard, sharing a look at the surprise wedding. Dave Portnoy's Beef With Zach Bryan Goes Way Beyond Brianna Chickenfry "Tougher than the rest," he wrote in the caption. In the photo, Bryan held Leonard bridal-style with a wine glass in her hand. The two were all smiles as they celebrated their big day. Bryan also shared a video of him performing Bruce Springsteen's song "Tougher Than the Rest" at their wedding celebration. Bryan was first linked to Leonard in August 2025. He shared a tribute to his now-wife via Instagram in October 2025 while celebrating her birthday. "From bull runs to all the bulls***, today is your birthday and I love you Samantha Marie," he wrote at the time. "To the only woman who can hike six miles in Chanel flats, skydive over the alps and catch a bigger fish than me all in the same day. Hope your day was as graceful as you are." Bryan moved on with Leonard following his highly publicized split from LaPaglia, 26. (Many fans have pointed out that the two women look very similar.) "Brianna and me [sic] have broken up with each other and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart. She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that, I'll always thank her," Bryan announced in October 2024. "I've had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways. I am not perfect and never will be." Zach Bryan and Brianna 'Chickenfry' LaPaglia's Relationship Timeline Following their breakup, LaPaglia went on the now-defunct "BFFs" podcast - which she previously cohosted alongside Portnoy and TikTok star Josh Richards - and alleged that Bryan was abusive during their relationship. She also claimed that Bryan offered her more than $12 million to sign an NDA barring her from publicly discussing their relationship. (She hinted that several of his exes were put in the same situation.) LaPaglia turned down the money, and Bryan never publicly responded to her claims. Us Weekly reached out for comment several times throughout the drama. Portnoy, meanwhile, found himself in the middle of a feud with Bryan after publicly taking LaPaglia's side during their split. Pornoy referred to Bryan as "a really immature, not confident baby" during an October 2024 podcast episode. He also claimed to be "banned" from Bryan's concerts and penned a diss track about the singer. "He hates my guts," Portnoy said about Bryan during a November 2024 episode of the "BFFs" podcast.
