To kick off 2026, Peacock has added a film that was originally released as a Prime Video exclusive in 2021. That's a power move typically reserved for Netflix, but it's not the only option offered by Peacock on the first weekend of 2026. To narrow things down, Watch With Us has selected the three best Peacock movies to binge-watch this weekend. Our picks include a sci-fi action flick, a late '90s thriller and a romantic comedy that deserves a wider audience. New on Paramount+ in January 2026 - The Full List of Movies and TV Shows 'The Tomorrow War' (2021) Guardians of the Galaxy's Chris Pratt plays a down-to-earth kind of guy in The Tomorrow War, but the story doesn't stray far from Pratt's sci-fi roots. Ex-Green Beret and current school teacher James Daniel Forester Jr. (Pratt) can't keep a job in the present, but that's the least of his issues. Soldiers from the future have arrived in the present to warn humanity that it faces extinction at the hands of an alien invasion unless reinforcements from the present are sent forward through time. Dan is one of the global recruits who is chosen to be trained and sent on a potentially one-way trip to the future. What Dan finds in that future isn't what he expected. He soon learns that his now-grown daughter, Muri Forester (Yvonne Strahovski), is a colonel, and she also knows all about Dan's fate in the original timeline. The Tomorrow War is streaming on Peacock. 'The Game' (1997) Michael Douglas headlines The Game as Nick Van Orton, an investment banker who is fabulously wealthy and extremely bored with his life. For his birthday, Nick's younger brother, Conrad Van Orton (Sean Penn), signs him up for an elaborate game run by Consumer Recreation Services. Michael Douglas Reveals Why He Has 'No Real Intentions' of Acting Again After completing a series of psychological exams for CRS, Nick discovers that he's been scammed. His bank accounts have been cleaned out, his reputation has been ruined and even Conrad is on the run and afraid of CRS. Nick doesn't have anyone close he can turn to, and even strangers he meets turn out to be CRS employees, seemingly placed to destroy what's left of his life. CRS has transformed Nick from a powerful man into a desperate one, and that makes him dangerous. The Game is streaming on Peacock. 'Little Italy' (2018) Little Italy imagines a Romeo & Juliet-style romance for Emma Roberts and Hayden Christensen, minus all of the bloodletting and murder. Instead, this is a lighthearted rom-com about Nicoletta "Nikki" Angioli (Roberts) and Leonard "Leo" Campoli (Christensen), both of whom were close when they grew up in Toronto's Little Italy neighborhood. The only thing that tore them apart was a feud between their respective fathers, Salvatore "Sal" Angioli (Adam Ferrara) and Vincenzo "Vince" Campoli (Gary Basaraba). In the present, Nikki comes back to town after spending years living in London. Upon reuniting with Leo, they begin a whirlwind romance that would bring down the wrath of their families if it came out. Nikki and Leo aren't the only ones on opposite sides of this feud who have romantic feelings for each other. But if Nikki gives in to her desires, then the chance of a lifetime may slip through her fingers. Little Italy is streaming on Peacock.
