The Governor of California took to X on Friday, January 2, to question a discrepancy in details of a medical check-up Trump underwent in October 2025.

Newsom asked while continuing to fuel rumors of the POTUS' cognitive decline.

In April of last year, the Republican leader had been evaluated by Barbabella - who determined Trump was in "exceptional health."While speaking to the WSJ, Trump admitted he regretted having the scan in the first place, as it provided an opportunity for further speculation about his mental and physical well-being."In retrospect, it's too bad I took it because it gave them a little ammunition. I would have been a lot better off if they didn't, because the fact that I took it said, 'Oh gee, is something wrong?' Well, nothing's wrong," he insisted.

After the interview was published on New Year's Day, Trump took to Truth Social early Friday morning to continue ranting about his health."The White House Doctors have just reported that I am in 'PERFECT HEALTH,' and that I 'ACED' (Meaning, was correct on 100 [percent] of the questions asked!), for the third straight time, my Cognitive Examination, something which no other President, or previous Vice President, was willing to take," Trump boasted via his social media platform.
The conservative politician continued: "P.S., I strongly believe that anyone running for President, or Vice President, should be mandatorily forced to take a strong, meaningful, and proven Cognitive Examination. Our great Country cannot be run by 'STUPID' or INCOMPETENT PEOPLE! President DJT."
