Paramount+ continues to add to its already impressive library in January 2026, with new movies and shows that start 2026 on the right foot. The big highlight of the month is the debut of the thriller series Coldwater, starring The Walking Dead's Andrew Lincoln, about how an ordinary man has a chance encounter with someone who could potentially ruin his life. Other debuts of note include Girl Taken, the Star Trek series Starfleet Academy featuring Holly Hunter and Paul Giamatti and the return of School Spirits for a third season.
