Catholic influencer Paul Kim is mourning the death of his son Micah after a medical emergency. "Micah Joseph is beginning the new year basking in the never ending glory, love, and peace of God," Kim wrote via Instagram on Thursday, January 1. "Micah has been very busy already, as I see the Lord using him and sending him on missions to bring millions of people closer to God. We are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses (Heb 12:1) that my son is now a part of. I couldn't be a prouder father. This reality gives me great joy and hope in the midst of sorrow." Kim confirmed that his 5-year-old son died on Wednesday, December 31, and is "already in heaven at work." "Our hearts are broken; but we trust in the Lord," he continued. "Please pray for my family and me as we learn how to live by faith and not by sight." We're so proud of him," he shared while crying. "I want to thank you guys from the bottom of my heart, as his dad and on behalf of my family, for all the ways you guys prayed and lifted us up during this incredibly difficult, impossible time for our family. It's been the hardest thing I've ever been through in my life and it continues to be." Kim, who is a father of six children and an ambassador for Cross Catholic Outreach, assured followers that he has not lost his faith.
