Mel Gibson has been honest about parenting through the years. The actor is the father to nine kids with three exes, and admittedly made some mistakes while raising his seven sons and two daughters. "As a parent, everybody screws up," Gibson said during a 2016 interview. "There's no such thing as a perfect parent and it's so easy to mess up. But hopefully I've screwed up less than most." Gibson's quote came just before his ex Rosalind Ross gave birth to the actor's youngest son, Lars, in January 2017.
