But Sean chose to celebrate the occasion with his aunt Jamie Lynn Spears' family and his grandmother Lynne Spears in Louisiana. First, the good news. The pop star had a great Christmas! A source told Us Weekly on Tuesday: "She had an amazing time with Jayden on Christmas. They laughed a lot and bonded more than they have in a while." The singer and her 19-year-old son enjoyed a "really delicious glazed ham that a close family friend made" and also "watched movies, played and listened to music." Fun! A "few good family friends stopped by to wish them a merry Christmas," as well. All in all, the insider expressed: "It was a really beautiful and memorable time. It deepened their connection." So nice! How special for them to share that time together. But, of course, for the momma bear, it was a little blue. Sean's absence was really weighing on her, the confidant continued: "Britney was really hurt that Preston didn't spend Christmas with her and Jayden, but he chose not to. She tried to convince him, but he wasn't ready to meet her halfway." Ultimately, he just preferred to be with his relatives: "Preston feels really comfortable with his grandmother and his cousins and family in Louisiana, and he thought it would be a nice way to spend Christmas this year."
