"Anyone still there is simply an enabler, enamored with what the couple once was, not who they are today," one source told the publication. "From a year ago, they have decreased their staff by at least 80-85 percent." _ James Holt, executive director of Archewell Philanthropies and the longest-serving employee of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, recently announced his departure from the company. "Working with Prince Harry and Meghan has been one of the great privileges of my career," he said in a statement. "From my first project with Prince Harry eight years ago to improve mental health support for soldiers in the British military, to our recent work helping injured children in Gaza, he has consistently challenged me to think bigger about how we can make a difference." The aide relocated to the United States to work for the couple after they left The Firm in 2020. _ While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle said James Holt would remain their senior philanthropic advisor, a second source suggested that is unlikely."Every time someone leaves, Harry and Meghan say they are staying on in some capacity," the insider said. "But they are never heard from again." _ In the last few months, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have lost three employees, Genevieve Roth, Christine Schirmer and Ashley Hansen. Meredith Maines, who signed on as their communications chief in early 2025, will resign in January. "They've essentially shuttered Archewell," a third source alleged. _ Despite rumors of turmoil, a spokesperson for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle claimed Archewell Philanthropies is doing just fine. "The move toward a philanthropic fiscal sponsor operating model does mean that some staff redundancies are inevitable, particularly with junior admin roles," a spokesperson said, per Daily Express. _ A representative for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's company added, "We will not be discussing these personnel details further, other than to say that we are honored to have worked with incredibly talented and caring people who dedicate themselves to helping others."
