Michael Kovac / Getty Images for Moet Now, if there's one thing about James Cameron, it's that he will speak his mind on literally anything - and in a recent interview with The New York Times, the Avatar: Fire and Ash mastermind finally (and quite belatedly, I might add!) addressed Amy's dig at his prior marriage to Kathryn. In the interview, James also reiterated his support at the time for Kathryn's success, and he remarked on the media's established narrative regarding the pair's nominations.
