Daniel Curtis Lee is helping out his old pal for the holidays. In case you didn't hear the news, Nickelodeon star Tylor Chase - AKA Martin Qwerly on Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide - has been down on his luck. In a viral video, he was spotted by fans who recognized him, and it was revealed he was homeless, living on the streets of Riverside, California. So sad! You can see the video (below): @ricecrackerspov This is so sad ran into the boy that used to play on Nickelodeon I remember watching him as a kid. She said he didn't need money, he needed medical attention, but kept refusing it. It's at this point Mighty Ducks star Shaun Weiss offered Tylor a place to stay and an opportunity to enroll in rehabilitation... But the 36-year-old reportedly refused. This isn't stopping the world from reaching out to help, though. Tylor's old friend Daniel, who played alongside him as the lovable Cookie in the series, went to see him on Tuesday. In a new Instagram post, the two Ned's Declassified stars are seen grabbing some pizza before Daniel eventually helps Tylor get settled into a motel room. In the video, the Zeke and Luther alum explained he originally thought Tylor did enroll in the rehab program, but he backed out. So he decided to go hang out with his old buddy instead: "Today I went to have pizza with [Tylor]." In the video, Daniel and Tylor hit up a local Blaze Pizza and catch up. He even calls Devon Werkheiser and lets Tylor speak to him: "I also got to let him chat with his old friend Devon Werkheiser. My boy Neddy!" How sweet! Further in the video, Daniel says the reason they struggled to get Tylor to rehab was because he didn't want to get in the car. But "he trusted an old friend" and got in the car with Daniel, who then took him to get a hotel room. With not only the holidays, but the California rainstorms on their way, he wanted to make sure Tylor had a place to stay cozy and dry. Near the end of the video, the old friends share a touching hug, while Daniel assures Tylor they're gonna figure this out: "I'm gonna come back and holler at you, man. We'll talk later about that situation... rehab, whatever we need to ... I love you. I love you, man. So happy to see you. I believe in you, bro." In the comments, fans flooded Daniel with positive and hopeful messages for both him and Tylor, with some writing: "It's the fact that he went out to go find him and gave him a place to stay. It's pretty nice." "One day he's going to be on the podcast with you guys and look back on this and see how far he's come and it's going to be such a beautiful moment going to be a completely different person very soon" "I'd like to think it made him really happy to see an old friend fr fr in a time where u think nobody got ur back" "Props to you for blessing him this holiday season" "Leave it to Cookie to do a great thing" "This is so heartbreaking and heartwarming" "One step at a time y'all got me through middle school yall 2 was my favorite gotta see it through" Devon himself even said: "That's a good man right there." In another update posted on Tuesday, Daniel shared that he FaceTimed with Tylor - and even got him in connection with his dad! He said Tylor seemed very "receptive" of everything, and they're working hard to get him help. He acknowledged that he wants to "respect" Tylor's mom's wishes of not giving him money directly, so they're asking their fans for help. In the caption, he wrote: "If anyone knows of a rehab or recovery facility willing to accept Tylor Chase on scholarship, please reach out. I'm also looking for guidance from a financial advisor on setting up a trust where funds are released only after successful completion of a program. We want to do this the right way-safe, structured, and supportive. Sending love to all the Ned's fans who've reached out with kindness and support for him. It truly means a lot." They even compared Tylor's situation to Macaulay Culkin's incredible recovery: "After seeing Macaulay Culkin bounce back from his darkest moment, I have hope that anyone can be given a second chance now." "That's so kind and awesome of you Daniel. Really awesome. So sad too what Tylor's gone through and going through. Hope he gets the help and all he needs. Like you said, structured and all is safer for himself." "The internet moved fast on this one! I love to see it love love love !!!" "Than
