Watch: Jake Paul Hospitalized With a Broken Jaw After Heavyweight Fight Against Anthony JoshuaJake Paul's heavyweight fight against Anthony Joshua was a total knockout. The Youtuber and former unified heavyweight champion went head-to-head at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida Dec. 19, where the pair were scheduled to compete in 8 rounds together. However, the match concluded early when Anthony landed a fight-ending blow to Jake's jaw. "Double broken jaw," the 28-year-old wrote in the caption of his Dec. 20 Instagram post, alongside an image of his X-ray. "Give me Canelo in 10 days." In the black and white image, two clean breaks can be spotted on either side of his jaw, marked with red circles. In another social media post, the Paul American star-who beat Mike Tyson in a televised boxing match last year-poked fun at his situation by lip-syncing to a hilarious audio clip while lying in his hospital bed. Beside him, brother Logan Paul played along by nodding. "I'm a little f----d up," Jake mouthed with difficulty in tandem with the audio. "But fighting is not just physical, it's psychological. The British pro boxer added, "And unless you have that instinct, you just will never be a good fighter." That being said, Anthony gave Jake a pat on the back for getting into the ring at all. "As we saw tonight, Jake has spirit," Anthony continued. "He has some heart. He tried his best. And I take my hat off to him because number one, a lot of fighters haven't got in the ring with me and Jake did.
