Taylor Swift's quick changes on the Eras Tour weren't always as smooth as they seemed. Swift, 36, opened up about what her quick changes really entailed during episode 3 of her End of an Era docuseries, which premiered on Disney+ Friday, December 19. "There were moments where I thought I don't know if these costume changes are gonna happen in time," Swift confessed. "I'm only off the stage for a maximum of two minutes at a time." The singer added, "You have no idea the panic of worrying you're not gonna be dressed in time for the song to start." Swift then recalled a moment where she had a painful wardrobe malfunction while changing out of her long Evermore dress and into her Reputation catsuit. She tripped over the hem of the Marco de Vincenzo for Etro dress, injured her knee and "skimmed the palm" of her hand off. Bleeding, she changed into the Roberto Cavalli number and didn't miss a beat. "Wasn't late!" she boasted. "Every outfit change is about a minute and 15 [seconds] or less," she said. "Our fastest quick change though is 39 seconds." Elsewhere in the episode, her longtime stylist Joseph Cassell opened up about designing her costumes and how he and Taylor used "nostalgia" as a factor. "The Eras Tour is all about the fans, you know? The reason I'm able to do my job so well is because I am a fan too," he gushed. "For the tour, we chose to be a little reflective and sentimental and tie in the designers who had been with Taylor from the beginning." While performing in Miami In October 2024, she surprised her fans and debuted a gold version of her red Reputation catsuit, which features one long sleeve, one long pant, and sequin snakes slithering across her body.
