Maya Dehlin Spach / Getty Images, Courtesy of HBO Max/Crave Jordan told Vulture that Heated Rivalry doesn't depict the actual way gay people have sex, and it's just "two straight hockey players pretending to be gay," which instantly received backlash from fans of the show. Sabrina Lantos Two stars from Heated Rivalry, Hudson Williams and François Arnaud, responded to Jordan's comments, which seemed only to stoke the flames even higher. "Is there only one way to have 'authentic' gay sex on tv? Should the sex that closeted hockey players have look like the sex that sceney LA gay guys have?" François commented. Hudson simply reshared François's comment, urging people to watch I Love LA. Santiago Felipe / Getty Images Now, the internet is cracking jokes that HBO's PR team is working overtime to squash the beef between their two shows before its gets out of hand. HBO Max On Dec. 16, Hudson posted a selfie smoking with Jordan to his Instagram story, doubling down on that Canadian charm and showing that perhaps there's no bad blood after all. François even commented a fire emoji on Just Jared's reshare of the pair's selfie. @hudsonwilliamsofficial / Instagram: @https://www.instagram.com/hudsonwilliamsofficial/?hl=en Then, the HBO stars turned up the heat with another collaboration, creating a video shared on the HBO Max social media accounts. I Love LA's Rachel Sennott and True Whitaker joined their costar, Jordan, and Heated Rivalry's Hudson at the Westfield Century City mall in Los Angeles to surprise host a gift-wrapping pop-up event on Dec. 17. @hudsonwilliamsofficial / Instagram: @https://www.instagram.com/hudsonwilliamsofficial/?hl=en Hudson and Jordan created a video using the "And now, back to this bitch that had a lot of stuff to say about me the other day in the press ... Miley what's good?" voiceover from Nicki Minaj calling out Miley Cyrus at the 2015 MTV VMAs. @hbomax Worked it out on the remix. #HeatedRivalry #ILoveLA ♬ original sound - cepsalm HBO Max / Via tiktok.com While the video hilariously showcased that the alleged feud might be over, thousands of fans don't seem too convinced. "i don't forgive neither forget," one person wrote. @hbomax / instagram.com Someone else said, "the north remembers," referencing another popular HBO show, Game of Thrones. @hbomax / instagram.com This person said that the video is "cute," but they "like to hold a grudge." @hbomax / instagram.com Another person demanded "a 500-word apology from Jordan on my desk by Monday." @hbomax / instagram.com "Nahh id rather hold a grudge for the rest of my life, than forgiving someone who doesn't even deserve that," another person wrote. @hbomax / instagram.com And other people praised Hudson for seemingly taking the high road in this entire situation. "Oh, so Hudson did some charity. And no, i'm not talking about wrapping the gifts. Hudson, you beautiful soul." @hbomax / instagram.com Finally, another person said, "I don't think it's right to use Hudson to clean up Jordan's image." @hbomax / instagram.com Listen, as someone who has religiously watched Heated Rivalry (twice) and never missed a single episode of I Love LA, I want to demand peace between the internet fandoms. I want fifty-eleven more seasons of BOTH shows, and I'll be damned if some fabricated feud gets in the way of my hopes and dreams. @hbomax / instagram.com Do you think the HBO family feud is over?
