Nick Reiner spoke about having "sick thoughts" years before being charged with his parents' murders. In a resurfaced YouTube video originally shared on his account in 2016, the Being Charlie screenwriter parades around as fictitious character 'Dddavid' in mockumentary-style footage sharing some troubling words. At around the 3:30 timestamp, Nick sips from a Snapple bottle before the cameraman asks, "Why do you like Snapple so much?" Nick responds: "Mainly because when I'm done drinking it, I can, uh, go in my room and squirt lotion in it and then use it to stick my penis in." He admits to the camera: "Sometimes I just come out to gather my - to gather my, uh, my sick thoughts." Later on in the video at around the 4:42 mark, Nick and a friend are seen shooting pool and seemingly sniffing lines of cocaine openly. They're also seen sparking up what appears to be marijuana and smoking it out in the open of an affluent neighborhood where Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner seemingly resided, while also talking about heroin.
