Seeking Sister Wife's Lorrana Merrifield returned to Instagram after her husband, Garrick, was arrested on a domestic violence charge before Thanksgiving. Garrick, 42, was booked in Chaffee County, Colorado, on November 24, on charges of misdemeanor domestic violence and obstructing telephone service, TMZ and People reported at the time. He was later released on bail. Days after his arrest, TMZ reported on November 26 that Garrick allegedly threatened to call U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on wife Lorrana - a Brazil native - and have her deported during an argument. According to the outlet, citing an affidavit for an arrest warrant, Lorrana told police that Garrick snatched her phone from her amid a dispute and would not allow her to contact her family in Brazil. (Garrick did not respond to multiple requests for comment from Us Weekly last month, nor has he publicly addressed his arrest.) "Got lost scrolling through photos and came across my doll Sarah.. oh how time needs to slow down! 💖😍," she wrote in Portuguese, alongside two photos of baby Sarah clad in a white onesie with pink hearts. Lorrana and Garrick welcomed their daughter in July, but did not announce the baby's arrival until November. On December 9, Lorrana shared another Instagram post, this time posting a selfie of herself posing in a car while wearing a white sweater. She captioned the post with a purple heart emoji, a cross emoji and a sparkling star emoji. Garrick and Lorrana married in October 2024, after Garrick legally divorced his first wife, Dannielle, in 2020 so he could wed another woman. Garrick and Dannielle, who have three children of their own, remain together, however, and are in a "plural" marriage with Lorrana, as documented on TLC's Seeking Sister Wife. "Coparenting as a plural family has been wonderful, to have all the support and be there for each other. It's a blessing to have all of our family involved helping each other. It's definitely allowed us to do different things," Garrick told People of coparenting with his two wives in November. "Lorrana and I have been able to go on trips when Dannielle took the kids, and vice versa Lorrana is taking the kids so Dannielle and I are able to celebrate our anniversary," he added. Most Tumultuous Relationships in Reality TV History "It has been nice for Lorrana and I to be able to help each other as mothers and give each other breaks. It has also been equally as special to see Garrick become a father again to two girls which is a whole different ball game," said Dannielle, who has two teenage sons and daughter Leia, 2, with Garrick. During the November 30 season 6 finale of Seeking Sister Wife, Garrick expressed his desire to add another wife to their "plural" family. He surprised Dannielle by saying that she would have to legally marry the new addition if she was from another country, citing Lorrana's U.S. citizenship status. "You know, if God had us to meet another woman from another country, truly our best option would be, Dannielle would have to marry to have her come here," Garrick said in a confessional interview alongside Dannielle and Lorrana. "Just because we don't know how long it would take before me and Lorrana could get divorced where I could marry another woman." "I wasn't aware of that," a surprised Dannielle responded. She added, "I feel like it's more of a discussion I feel like we need to have."
